Leslie Bibb Joins Camila Mendes in Upgraded 2

One sequel, one new name

Leslie Bibb is set to star in Upgraded 2 opposite returning lead Camila Mendes, Deadline reported on October 23. Becca Gleason directs, and production begins this month in Italy.

Why the casting gets noticed

The 2024 original starred Mendes as an art auction intern who passes herself off as the house's director. Amazon MGM Studios holds worldwide rights to the sequel, which goes to Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories, and Bibb arrives fresh from an Emmy nomination for Hacks.

What is still under wraps
