Vogue: Jenna Ortega Says She Does Not Read Her Own Reviews

A cover story with the sound off

Jenna Ortega told Vogue in a new cover story that she does not read her reviews, watch her own movies or check box office updates her team sends her, Variety reported. She said reviews would send her into "a psychosis of some sort."

Why the timing got noticed

Her film Klara and the Sun opens on 23 October to weak reviews and modest tracking, the trade said. Separately, she told the Happy Sad Confused podcast she will probably be off TV for a while after Wednesday ends.

What she did not say

No end date for Wednesday was given. A break after the show is a plan, not an announcement.
