When Allen agreed to appear on the 2015 Lifetime reality show called “Smile,” she was promised dental implants, a dream come true that quickly turned into a nightmare.

At least 20 of her teeth were pulled out and she was left with only a few bottom teeth.

Although the show did provide her with new dentures that initially made her very happy, she was also promised dental implants.

Legend Magazine reviewed the text messages exchanged between Allen and the producer saved in her phone under the name Barbara.

In the exchange of messages Barbara assured Allen that she would be coming back for the implants and that she was excited for Allan.

Allen received an e-mail from an executive producer 2 years later and was told that "Smile was no longer in production, and that under the terms of their agreement she would be getting no medical treatment.

In my strong opinion, the Lifetime reality show may be in their legal rights but morally and ethically they took someone who was extremely vulnerable, exploited her for their own personal gain and then when it was no longer convenient, dropped her.

Allen only wants what she was promised initially but Lifetime has shown themselves at this point to be less concerned about her and more concerned about the legalities of their contract despite the fact that it leaves Allen with some 20 teeth missing. A procedure they instigated.
