Kevin Wheeler Has a Packed Year Ahead — From Community Service to Screen and Page

Kevin Wheeler is keeping extra busy these days, and he is opening up about everything currently on his plate.

The Simplified COO took to his platform to share a major roundup of updates across his personal and professional life, showing off a lineup of projects that span public service, youth leadership, writing, and upcoming screen work.

Wheeler revealed he is currently in training for the 2026 National Volunteer Fire Council Step Challenge. The event raises awareness and support for first responders nationwide, putting physical endurance toward a community-focused cause.

His commitment to local community work doesn't stop at the fire station. Wheeler also shared that he is stepping back onto the court, beginning his third year as a coach in the local park league basketball program.

On top of his active schedule, Wheeler just wrapped work on a brand-new project: a young adult murder mystery novel, currently untitled. The manuscript marks his latest venture into fiction following a run of major accolades in publishing.

The announcement comes right on the heels of another career milestone. Wheeler was recently recognized with an International Impact Award for the book Unbreakable, adding to a growing list of honors for his literary work. He was also honored with the Beacon of Well-Being Award, highlighting his ongoing work around health, resilience, and personal development.

Fans will soon see him step in front of the camera as well. Wheeler has joined the cast of Unbroken, an upcoming documentary scheduled to hit theaters in February 2027.

With multiple ventures moving forward at once, Wheeler shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
