More Casualties in Suicide bombings
Baghdad continues to see violence between Islamic factions. The most recent was a series of suicide attacks and a deadly car bomb explosion that killed at least 48 people on Thursday this week. The car bomb was claimed by the Islamic State group, who said they were targeting “a gathering of Shias”. Sources say this explosion has been the deadliest attack in several months – as it happened on a busy street in the Bayaa neighborhood.
